Jesus Entered Our Home Amidst Covid 19
Jesus Entered Our Home Amidst Covid 19
As we were all quarantined during Holy Week, we wondered how it could possibly be as impactful as we miss the traditions we so love. God is faithful though!
Earlier in the year Chris told us of a young man named Hewitt who he sponsored in RCIA. We asked this young man to join us for dinner, a Rosary, and a few card games. As he was sharing his conversion story and desire to know our Lord more, we were so impressed with his fervor and dedication. It was infectious!
We wanted to share the traditions we usually practiced during Holy Week as a family in our home with Hewitt, so we invited him to join us. Many traditions we practice are wonderful each year, but there was something special about this year. We had someone who was experiencing these traditions for the first time. With that, came awe and excitement that I am not sure could be reproduced any other way. It was so uplifting, so refreshing, and we were so grateful God had given us this beautiful gift. We received much more than we shared. God spoiled us by allowing Christ’s light to enter into our home as we just opened the door. We praise God for this young man and ask that you pray for his journey as we know God has BIG plans for him!
